Pregnancy is a beautiful and special time that comes with many unique considerations for massage.  During our time together, we will address your unique needs and specific areas of tension. All prenatal massages will by supported with a side-lying cushion system for the most comfort and safety at all stages of pregnancy. 

Postpartum massage addresses problems specific to both birthing and non birthing parents.

For problem areas that need some extra attention, therapeutic massage is the place to begin.  Each session is customized with a goal in mind. Various modalities can be used including deep tissue, stretching, trigger point therapy and myofascial release. 60 minutes will work for a focused area, but 90 minutes is suggested for a full body.  Pairs well with hot stones and CBD.

Traditional basalt stones are heated and used during your massage. Hot stones warm the muscles allowing me to work at a deeper level with less discomfort. 

Extra time is spent on the muscles contributing to headaches. I will address your specific areas of concern. Headaches can be caused by a multitude of things including tension in the shoulders, neck, face, sinuses, tmj, occipital area and scalp.  Techniques will be used to help relieve your specific headache.

The gua sha tool is used in facial massage to promote circulation, reduce puffiness and relax the facial muscles.  This tool can also be used in body work on deep tissue techniques and trigger points or adhesions.

Scrub gloves are worn to dry scrub and exfoliate away your dry skin.  This enhancement reduces dry skin, improves circulation and prepares the skin to best receive the nourishing ingredients in  massage oil.

As you breathe in the aroma of your chosen organic essential oil, feel your stress melt away.  Each oil, unique in it’s benefits, is added to the massage oil or cream, enveloping your senses and supporting the goal of your massage.
